PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively atomize fuel by injecting fuel from an injection nozzle arranged on the downstream of a throttle valve toward the throttle valve, colliding the injected fuel with a high speed air current passing the throttle valve or mixing it with a turbulence generated on the downstream of the throttle valve. SOLUTION: An injector 15 for single point injection is arranged immediately below a throttle valve 5a so that an extension of its spray angle θ faces a clearance part 5b of the throttle valve 5a and a throttle main body 5 formed at the time when the throttle valve 5a is closed in a multiple cylinder type engine 1. At the time of idling, as the throttle valve 5a is roughly in a closed state, intake air passing through the clearance part 5b becomes a high speed air current, and it is jet out to the downstream of the throttle valve 5a. Consequently, a part of the fuel injected from the injector 15 collides with the high speed air current passing through the clearance part 5b, and the remaining part is atomized by being mixed with the intake air by a turbulence generated on the downstream of the throttle valve 5a. |
