PURPOSE:To increase cycling performance by adding carbon, on which at least one metal selected from In, Tl, Ga, Bi, Sn, Pb, and Cd is deposited by reduction, to a zinc active material. CONSTITUTION:Carbon on which at least one metal selected from In, Tl, Ga, Bi, Sn, Pb, and Cd is deposited by reduction is added to a zinc active material. Hydrogen overvoltage of carbon is heightened and high hydrogen overvoltage is retained even if the number of cycles is increased. The cycling performance of a battery is increased. |
