<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a jam of paper sheets and damage thereto due to deformation of the caper sheets and to enhance reliability of the device by infallibly straightening paper sheets deformed at the time of the proceeding fixing process in the conveyance passage for re-conveying paper sheets to a transfer unit after completion of the proceeding fixing process. SOLUTION: An idle roller 46 is made fixable to one of the can unit 1 through 4 of a pair of hold-down plates 52a and the like by resisting at the energizing force of a coil spring 51, straightening force by a straightening device 48 is adjusted by adjusting the pressing angle of a straightening belt 47, which is hooked around the idle roller 46, to a straightening roller 43 and the paper sheets are infallibly straightened regardless of their curled degree.</p> |
