PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain water-repellent fabric excellent in shrinkproofness and washing resistance by supplying wool-contg. fabric with a treating liquid composed of a water-soluble polyisocyanate oligomer, an aqueous fluororesin dispersion and a fluorine-based water-and-oil repellent. SOLUTION: First, an aqueous fluororesin dispersion is prepared by copolymerization, in the presence of an aqueous medium, between a perfluoroalkyl group-contg. ethylenic unsaturated monomer and an ethylenic unsaturated monomer copolymerizable therewith in the presence of a self- dispersible polyurethane resin. Secondly, a treating bath is prepared by blending the above-mentioned aqueous dispersion with a water-soluble polyisocyanate oligomer with the isocyanate groups blocked with a bisulfite. Finally, a wool- contg. fabric is immersed in the above-mentioned treating bath, dried, and then heat-treated to obtain the objective shrinkproof-and-water-repelelnt-finished fabric. |
