PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the high-speed and high-precision machining even for a large work by providing a laser beam machining head truck receiving the laser beam from a laser beam oscillator truck to move freely and position a laser beam machining head in the three-axis direction. SOLUTION: A laser beam machining head 7 provided on a laser beam machining head truck 9 can be moved and positioned in the mutually orthogonal X-, Y- and Z-axis direction, and receives the laser beam LB from a laser oscillator 3 on a laser oscillator truck 5 to achieve the laser beam machining of a work on a work table 15. The laser beam oscillator truck 5 is fixed to the appropriate position, and the work is machined by receiving the laser beam LB from the laser beam oscillator 3 by the laser beam machining head truck 9, or moving the laser beam oscillator truck 5 on X-axis so that the optical path length from the laser beam oscillator 3 to the work is constantly set to the prescribed value. Because the laser beam oscillator 3 is separated from the laser beam machining truck 5, the high-speed and high-precision machining can be realized without being affected by the acceleration/deceleration. |
