A soft terrain vehicle wheel comprises a hub (12) supporting a molded elastomeric tyre (20) consisting of a cylindrical body (22) with a plurality of voids (40) and a cylindrical outer ground-contacting surface (26) that extends laterally of the tyre on resilient self-supporting flanges (24) whose outer edges are divided into tongues (38) by a number of slots (36). The flanges are thinner and less stiff at their outer edges and reduce the markings left by the wheel on soft ground, such as a golf course.
