TV camera with frame transfer CCD image converter

The x-ray diagnostic appts. includes a CCD image converter. X-ray pulses cause charge transfer in the detector elements of the CCD for one cell group and then for another. The two cell groups hold image information which is then combined to form a full image. The charge transfer in each region occurs over half of the predetermined illumination period. A reduction in x-radiation occurs during the transfer of charge from the integration region to the storage region. A high frequency rectifier is disposed on the primary side of the hv generator to reduce the x-ray tube voltage.
