The invention relates to a self-adhesive label (2'), being originally part of a front material (2) adheringly affixed, by an adhesive layer (6), to a carrier material (1), said label being intended for transferral from the carrier material to a two piece packing article, so as to cover the joint between those two pieces, and a part of the label in the front material (2) carrying a perforation (4) to be torn up in connection with the opening of the packing, and the carrier material (1) comprising a punch-out (3) being situated underneath the perforation in the front material and being extended in an important part of the longitudinal extension of the perforation, said punch-out in the carrier material extending into the tear-up starting area of the perforation in the front material. The characteristic feature is, that the whole punched-out piece (3') of the carrier material, as such, remains on a back side (7) of the label (2'), when said label is transferred from the carrier to the packing article. Thereby is obtained, that the punched-out piece (3') of carrier material, like a tear thread member, goes along with the perforation strip (4) during the tearing-up thereof in connection with the opening of the packing article. In a preferred embodiment, a tear flap (5) is provided at the one end of the perforation in the front material. |
