PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a variety of trial printing functions in a single unit by providing a trial printing function by which print data stored in an expanded storage means are read and outputted in a printing control section when a CPU receives a trial printing instruction from a control panel. SOLUTION: When a CPU 4 judges that an expanded storage means 1 is a ROM, it gets into a wait state for trial printing data stored in the expanded storage means (ROM) and makes trial printing possible. An operator instructs a trial printing mode from a control panel 3 and selects one from multiple print data and inputs from the control panel 3. When the CPU 4 receives a request for trial printing start from the control panel 3, reads print data stored in the expanded storage means (ROM) and begins printing through a printing control section 8. |
