摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bright display by allowing reflection films to contain fluorescent pigments emitting desired fluorescents of desired wavelenghts by receiving lights of wavelengths other than desired wavelengths. SOLUTION: An optical modulation layer 1 which changes translucency of light by receiving a voltage to be impressed in between a common electrode 5 and a pixel electrode 3 is formed between the common electrode 5 and pixel electrodes 3. Moreover, reflection films consisting of three kinds of a red reflection film 4R, a green reflection film 4G and a blue reflection film 4B and which are cover with a protective film 8 are deployed under the optical modulation layer 1 by being made to correspond to pixel electrodes 3. Then, respective reflection films of three kinds of the red reflection film 4R, the green reflection film 4G and the blue reflection film 4B contain fluorescent pigments respectively emitting red, green and blue daylight fluorescents. Since the fluorescent pigment emit the fluorescent of the desired wavelength by receiving the light of wavelengths other than the desired wavelength, an emitted fluorescent and the reflected light are integrated to be scattered from the reflection film.
