PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cushion material for packing which is inexpensive and has low pollution by constituting a cushion part of wood chips and forming the cushion material to provide flexibility between the cushion parts so that the cushion parts are at desired positions. SOLUTION: Thin synthetic resin pieces 1, 2 having airtightness and flexibility are overlaid vertically and wood chips 3 are put between the thin pieces 1, 2 together with air. The thin pieces 1, 2 are fused approximately at the center in a lengthwise direction of the pieces 1, 2 to divide the wood chips 3 by the fused part, thereby providing cushion parts 5, 5. Alternatively, a space between the thin pieces 1, 2 is deaerated to seal the wood chips 3 in a vacuum state, providing a cushion part 5. Then the wood chips 3 are divided between the thin pieces 1, 2, and the cushion parts 5, 5 are formed so that they can stand with a partition as a fold line. Such a cushion material serves as a cushion due to elasticity of the wood chips 3 and has little influence to environments at the time of disposal. In addition, adjustment of an air amount between the thin pieces 1, 2 can adjust elasticity of the cushion material. |
