PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid black cores which are the cause of the fact that coal ash is not conventionally used although coal ash has a proper chemical component as a ceramic raw material and is changed into vitreous particles by high temp. treatment to be extremely useful, and to obtain a homogeneous and porous sintered body having both of water holding property and water permeability, and to provide its production method. SOLUTION: The source compsn. is prepared by mixing fly ash of coal ash and clinker ash is total 50-85wt.%, clay source material and hydraulic cement in total 15-30wt.% (however, the hydraulic cement in added by 0.3-0.5 pts.wt. to 1 pt.wt. of the clay source material) and 0-20wt.% controlling material for sintering. This source compsn. is compacted, dried and calcined to obtain a sintered body produced from coal ash as the source material. |
