<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to feed paper in exact synchronization with the operation of a image forming section and to make possible to eliminate a resist roller by detecting the momentarily changing feed rate of the paper in accordance with position detection signals and changing the relative speed of an image carrying member motor and a paper feed motor according to the feed rate. SOLUTION: The plural paper position detectors 4 arranged along a paper feed direction detect the arrival position of the paper 2 in the arranging position. A deviation pulse signal generator (feed rate detecting means) detects the momentarily changing feed rate of the paper 2 in accordance with the signals detected by the plural position detectors 4. A speed setting means changes the rotating speed of the paper feed motor according to the momentarily changing feed rates of the paper 2. Then, the exact feeding of the paper 2 in compliance with the rotating position of a printing drum 5 is made possible by adjusting the feed rate of the paper 2 in a paper feeding process even if the positions of the front ends of the individual paper 2 loaded on a paper feed table 11 shift in the direction longitudinal to the paper feed direction or a paper feed roller 12 slits with the paper 2.</p> |
