FIELD: use of hand tools in woodworking. SUBSTANCE: distinguishing feature of the device is the fact that it does not require special bench and is installed on feet of smoothing plane or on similar object, and abrasive tool is used in form of abrasive paper or cloth that does not exclude use of whetstone. Device ensures obtaining of precise set angles of sharpening, absolutely flat surfaces of chamfers and thoroughly polished cutting edges. EFFECT: mechanization of flat sharpening and lapping of tools of planes and chisels and uniform wear of abrasive tools. |
