FIELD: ammunition for small arms, cartridges used for construction and erection works. SUBSTANCE: fire-initiating composition comprises lead trinitroresorcinate, tetrazene, barium nitrate, antimony trisulfite, magnesium oxide or carbonate, or talcum and binder, such as fluoroplast, or vinyl acetate, or phenolformaldehyde resin, or nitrocellulose, or methylcellulose, or celluloid, or shellac, or mixture thereof. Composition is reliably and stably put into action at prick applied with minimum energy. Effect of using said composition is increased by using case (in circularly ignitable cartridge) having hardness at least 150 HV and reaches peak if cartridge case is made of steel.
