CHARGE TO EXCITE SEISMIC WAVES

摘要

FIELD: geophysical studies with usage of explosives. SUBSTANCE: charge to excite seismic waves has case where explosive charge is positioned which has hollow recess and tray made from inert material with recess symmetrical to first one and forming together with it common closed cavity which volume does not exceed $$$ of explosive. Tray is manufactured from material with limit of dynamic breaking strength $$$ Pa having thickness of wall in zone of action of jet of hollow explosive charge not less than radius of base of hollow recess of charge and mass equal to triple mass of explosive charge. Case of explosive charge is additionally fitted with shield-reflector fabricated in the form of cylinder having diameter equal to that of charge with hole to place blasting cap located in face of charge on side of hole housing blasting cap. Shield- reflector is produced from material with limit of dynamic breaking strength $$$ Pa. Thickness h of cylinder is found from relation $$$, where $$$ is mass of explosive; p is density of material of shield-reflector; d is diameter of charge. Charge is additionally provided with leak-tight facing jacket located inside closed cavity. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of seismic studies thanks to increased portion of energy used to form useful seismic wave by increase of its directivity by means of redistribution of composition over height of charge.
