The securing element comprises an annular section (2) and a radially outwards protruding gripper section (4). The annular section is fittable to a free section of the multipart screw connection (18) such that the latter individual components are held in no-loss manner and/or are correspondingly positioned. The annular section is removable under deformation by a tensile force acting in a radial direction at the gripper section. Pref. the annular section is peripherally enclosed, with a rated break point at peripheral positions.
