Operating device for automobile auxiliary heater

The operating device allows the auxiliary heater to be brought into operation by a pre-programmed timer module (6.2), incorporated in a control device (6) mounted onboard the vehicle. A clock source (8.1) provides a time signal representing the actual time, supplied to both the pre-programmed timer module and an onboard time display (8.2). The latter can be used as the display for the entered time during the pre- programming of the timer module.
