<p>PURPOSE:To measure the position of a shield machine under ground in non- contact state accurately and surely by detecting the position of a transmitter in the manner of moving a receiver along the rotational and radial directions of the shield machine. CONSTITUTION:The transmitting part 72 having a radiation source is provided on the axial line of one shield machine 40 and also receiving part 71 having a radiation detector is provided in the position separated by a specified distance to the radial direction from the axial line of another shield machine 10 freely movable with rotation around the axial line of the shield machine 10. The receiving part 71 is rotated around the axial line of another shield machine 40 to measure a rotational angle at the time when the radiation dose detected by the receiving part 71 comes to the maximum. Next, the transmitting part 72 is arranged at the position moved by the distance in the radial direction and by the rotational angle. Then, the receiving part 71 is moved along the radial direction of the shield machines 10, 40, and the mutual positions of the shield machines can be detected by means of measuring the distances from the axial lines of the shield machines 10, 40 at the time when the radiation dose detected by the receiving part 71 comes to the maximum.</p> |
