POLYPROPYLENE RESIN COMPOSITION FOR RETORT AND RETORT TREATING POLYPROPYLENE FILM USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both the subject composition and film not causing a fish eye, excellent in balance of anti-block properties, transparency and slipperiness and transparency even after retort sterilization treatment. SOLUTION: This composition is obtained by blending 100 pts.wt. of crystalline polypropylene with 0.01-1.0 pts.wt. of hydrotalcite and/or a metal hydroxide compound as a neutralizing agent and 0.01-0.8 pt.wt. of a spherical inorganic inactive substance having 0.1-10.0μm average particle diameter, <=20m<2> /g specific surface area by BET method and <=100ml/100g oil absorption. The composition is extrusion molded to give the objective film having <=2.0 ratio of haze before and after retort treatment at >=40 deg.C and <=140 deg.C and <=6.0% haze after the retort treatment.
