PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer recording material which has excellent transferable property, heat resistance to a high temperature up to about 280 deg.C, and solvent resistance and scratch resistance, and can form excellent images. CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer recording material having a heat melting ink layer consisting of a vehicle and a pigment arranged on a base material, 85wt.% or above of the vehicle consists of an epoxy resin which contains 50wt.% or above of tetraphenol ethane tetraglycidyl ether and/or its bromine compound. |
