<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen a visual field angle as color filters for a liquid crystal display element and to improve a light condensing rate as the color filters for a solid-state image pickup element by forming pixels of three primary colors dispersed with pigments into a transparent resin contg. a thermosetting resin to a projecting shape in a film thickness direction. SOLUTION: The color filters for the color liquid crystal display element or the solid-state image pickup element are composed by forming the pixels of the three primary colors, red, blue and green, having the projecting shapes in the film thickness direction. The pixels are composed by dispersing the pigments into the transparent resin contg. the thermosetting resin. The shapes of the pixels include, for example, the projecting shape formed by cutting away part of the spherical shape. The radius of curvature of the projecting shapes is preferably in a range of 30 to 2000μm and the height from the base to the vertex 0.5 to 50μm in the case of the color filters for the liquid crystal display element or the solid-state image pickup element of a tight contact type or complete contact type without having an optical reducing system. The thermosetting resin includes at least one kind selected from a group consisting of a melamine resin, urea resin, alkyd resin, epoxy resin, etc.</p> |
