PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present the optimum condition of atmosphere and provide an efficient degreasing method in the degreasing of a molded article composed of inorganic powder and an organic binder. SOLUTION: An inorganic powder molded article produced by molding a mixture of inorganic powder and organic binder is heated to remove the organic binder. In the above degreasing process, the atmospheric pressure in the furnace is maintained above the vapor pressure of the organic binder at the furnace temperature until the degreasing ratio reaches at least 30% and the degreasing is continued by lowering the pressure in the furnace below the vapor pressure. |
