PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal recording medium capable of being recorded or erased by a single heating device and extremely accelerating the speed of color developing and erasing. SOLUTION: The reversible thermal recording medium comprises a coloring compound, color developer, and a phase separation control material for varying the phase separating speed of the compound or the developer near its melting point, wherein the control material has supercooling properties that the difference between the melting point and a solidifying point is 10 deg.C or higher. |
