SOLUTION: A node equipment connecting to a transmission line consisting of plural transmission channels has a transmission section I9 and a reception section I1 to send/receive data to/from a 1st transmission channel group of the plural transmission channels, a transmission section II10 and a reception section II2 to send/receive data to/from a 2nd transmission channel group of the plural transmission channels, an input interface means 3 and an output interface means 11 with respect to data inputted to/outputted from terminal equipment 12 to be connected to its own node. An exchange section has a function providing the output of an output signal from either of the reception sections I, II selectively to the transmission section II10 or I9 or the output interface means 11, a function providing the output of an output signal from the other of the reception section I or II to either of the transmission sections I, II, a function providing the output of an output signal from the input interface means to either of the transmission sections I, II, a function providing the output of an output signal from the reception section I to the transmission section I or a function providing the output of the output signal from the reception section II to the transmission section II.
