<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device which eliminates the need for a paper attraction part and a preheating plate, prevents paper wrinkle, image omission, and soil on printing sides in both-side printing, and maintains stable print-quality regardless of printing conditions. SOLUTION: The device eliminates the need for a paper attraction part, uses a paper carrying guide 20, and controls altogether, by a centralized control part 21, the timing of the contact/separation of a pressure roller 9 with/from a heat roll 7, the swinging position of a buffer 4 absorbing difference in paper- carrying speed, the drive mechanism 18 of a heat roll 7, and the drive mechanism 10 of a pair of rotary rollers 12 drawing the printing paper 1 to a paper storage part 13. According to printing conditions the paper-carrying speed (amount) in the fixing device is changed.</p> |
