PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically switch an optical signal level by attachably/ detachably connecting plural cabled master optical connectors arranged on a rotatable disc to/from plural slave connectors arranged on the same circumference. SOLUTION: Master optical connectors 1, 1' are arranged on the center line of a rotary disc 5 so as to be pushed out or pulled in to/from the center of the disc 5 by an electromagnetic solenoid or the like in a connector attaching/ detaching mechanism 3. Plural slave connectors 2, 2' to be connected to the master connectors 1, 1' are concentrically arranged on a fixed plate 6. At the time of switching operation, the rotating disc 5 is rotated by a rotation positioning mechanism 4, and after positioning these connectors so that the master connectors 1, 1' are opposed to the connectors 2, 2' to be connected, the connectors 1, 1' are pushed out by the mechanism 3 and inserted and connected to the connectors 2, 2' concerned. Consequently the connection of optical cables can be switched without executing photoelectric conversion and the generation of a fault by a high potential difference, a strong electromagnetic field, inter-line induction, or the like can be prevented. |
