PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cut the unnecessary emission spectrum between the primary colors, the unnecessary emission spectrum due to the sealing gas and the unnecessary emission spectrum in an invisible area with the simple structure so as to eliminate the muddiness of color and obtain the vividness and the excellent contrast, and to prevent the bad influence due to the infrared rays and the ultraviolet rays. SOLUTION: In this plasma display device, a front surface plate 31 and a back surface plate 32 are arranged in parallel with each other and opposite to each other, and cell barriers 33 are provided between both the plates 31, 32 so as to form plural cells as a display element, and a phosphor layer is provided in each cell at the predetermined position. A hologram filter is provided in front of the front surface plate 31. |
