PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic radial tire which can improve drainage without spoiling control stability and abrasion resistance. SOLUTION: A four-cornered block 30 is formed on the tread T of a pneumatic radial tire, the groove height of a pair of corner parts 31 forming acute angles is set lower than the groove height of a pair of corner parts 32 forming obtuse angles, and the tread of the block is formed into a curved surface.
