PIPELINE SEALING ARRANGEMENT

FIELD: pipeline transport. SUBSTANCE: arrangement, which is placed inside pipeline, has stem 3 with threaded end. The stem is rigidly coupled with cylinder 2. Seated on threaded end of stem with a clearance is movable cylinder 4 with end face provided with annular tapered projection and facing the space between cylinders. Threaded end of stem 3 facing the open end of pipeline is provided with lock washer 6, with retainer 7 and pressure nut 8. EFFECT: arrangement contributes for higher reliability of sealing of large-diameter pipelines and provides higher safety for welding operations in case of increased pressure in isolated part of pipeline.
