PURPOSE: To provide a method for making a printing plate easy to handle which consists of a thin photosensitive resin layer and has no bottom, and a heat cutter used therefor. CONSTITUTION: A photosensitive resin layer 4 and cushion layer 3 of a printing plate 1 are slitted 7 along a boundary between an image part and a non-image part by a heat cutter having a flat contact part and heated to 100-500 deg.C to fuse adhesives of a base film 2 and a cushion layer 3 near the slit 7 (in a range (b), and the photosensitive resin layer 4 and cushion layer 3 in the non-image part are strongly pulled, peeled from the base film 2, and removed. |
