PURPOSE: To obtain an optical pickup capable of lessening the influence of heat by a light source and improving at least either of recording and reproducing characteristics as this optical pickup is capable of suppressing the return light to the light source and decreasing stray light. CONSTITUTION: At least one of the surfaces 5e, 5f, 5g, 5h of an optical guide member 5 are provided with antireflection films 200. As a result, the efficient introduction of light to media is made possible and, therefore, the power of the light source 1 can be suppressed and the countermeasure for the stray light becomes possible. |
