PURPOSE: To prevent the deformation or the breakage of an electrode cover in the case of assembling work and to improve assembling workability by providing the detection circuit of a touch sensor in a camera main body and a detection electrode on an external cover, connecting the base end of a detection armature to the detection electrode and bringing the free end of the electrode into contact with the input part of the detection circuit in the case of covering the camera main body with the external cover. CONSTITUTION: The detection circuit 15 of the touch sensor is disposed under the stroboscopic device 14 of the camera main body 10. An aperture for an electrode 24 is formed near the lower side of the light emitting window 14c of a front cover 20 and an electrode cover 30 is attachably/detachably provided on the aperture 24. The detection electrode 31 is fixed inside the cover 30 and the base end of the detection armature 32 is connected and fixed to the electrode 31. The free end of the electrode 31 is extended backward and brought into contact with the input part of the detection circuit 15 in a state where the camera main body 10 is covered with the cover 20. The armature 32 has appropriate elasticity, so that it is surely brought into contact with the input part.
