AUTOMATIC FOCUS CONTROLLER AND ITS METHOD

PURPOSE: To conduct correct automatic focus control even when an object with a high contrast comes in/out of a range finder frame. CONSTITUTION: A control microcomputer 8' provides the output of a range finding frame control signal to change a position and a size of a range finding frame when a detected position of a focus signal fed from an automatic focus detection section 7' is at a surrounding of the range finding frame. As a result, an object with a high contrast does not come in/out the range finding frame.
