PURPOSE: To obtain a solar battery, which is superior in weather resistance and flexibility, by a method wherein a plurality of solar batteries are held between two sheets of ethylene-vinyl-acetate films, a high-molecular film performed a waterproof coating is laminated on the opposite sides to the surfaces of incidence of light of the batteries and the high-molecular film is thermally pressure bonded to the rears of the batteries along with the vinyl film. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of solar batteries 1 are sealed with insulative sealant 3 along with wirings 2 for connecting the solar batteries 1 in parallel. As the solar batteries 1, a-Si flexible solar batteries formed on a polyimide substrate about 50μm thick are used and ethylene-vinyl-acetate films 0.2mm thick are respectively pressure bonded thermally to both surfaces of the batteries 1 as the insulative sealant 3. In the opposite surfaces seen from the sides of the surface of incidence of light of the solar batteries, a high-molecular film 4 coated with a waterproof film 5 is pressure bonded on the insulative sealing resin 3. Thereby, the cost of a solar battery device is reduced, the flexibility of the device is ensured and the weather resistance of the device can be improved in a simple structure. |
