<p>PURPOSE: To evade power-off operation when a CRT is in a suspended state, etc. CONSTITUTION: This personal computer is provided with a switch 12 which breaks the connection between an unlock type power switch 11 and a main power source part 14 supplying electric power to a main body control part 15 only in the suspended state, a subordinate power source part 13 which supplies electric power to the switch 12, a power switch depression detection part 16 which detects the power switch 11 being depressed and outputs a signal indicating that the power switch 11 is pressed, and a suspended state ON/OFF control part 17 which monitors suspension conditions and outputs a suspension- ON/OFF signal according to the conditions. Further, the personal computers is provided with a suspension control part 18 which performs CRT suspension control with the signal from the control part 17 and a CRT 19 which has a mechanism that enters the suspended state. In the CRT suspended state wherein the CRT 19 displays nothing, the power source is not turned off even if the power switch 11 is pressed down.</p> |
