PURPOSE: To provide a pipe joint for connecting a pipe unit of different diameter whereby a pipe unit of different diameter can be surely connected without replacing the pipe joint. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of pipe unit connecting part C1, C2 are arranged in series. Pipe joint main units 2, 22 have an insert port for inserting tubes T1, T2 which are a pipe unit. Annular chucks 8, 26 as a lock member, provided in the joint main units 2, 22, lock a peripheral surface of the tubes T1, T2 by pawl parts 8b, 26b. Opening cylinders 10, 28 are movably provided on the inlet side from the annular chucks 8, 26 to unlock a lock condition of the tubes T1, T2. A pipe unit connection part C2 for connecting a large diameter pipe unit, is arranged on the inlet side in accordance with increasing its diameter, and a pressure transmitter for transmitting pressing force by the opening cylinder 28 belonging to this connection part C2 to the opening cylinder 10 belonging to the pipe unit connection part C1, is provided between both the opening cylinders 10, 28. |
