CONSTITUTIONAL ELEMENT AND SYSTEM FOR COLLECTING, CONVEYING AND PRESERVING SAMPLE TO BE ANALYZED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a component and a system for sampling, transporting and preserving samples in which the samples to be analyzed can be sampled and transported easily while protecting against infection due to damage of container. SOLUTION: The component contains first and second layers of aborptive matrix material 1, 2 disposed on an inert support material 3 contiguously thereto while touching each other such that a liquid can migrate from first layer to second layer when the first layer is filled with liquid. After a sample is applied and dried, the first layer can be separated perfectly from the second layer. The system comprises the component and a closable envelope for transporting the component. The component is coated with a liquid sample and the first layer is separated from the second layer for the purpose of analysis before being eluted.
