The adjuster is centred relative to a camshaft (2) via an oil guide shell (12). This shell has radial webs (15), with their external surface (16) in the receiving boring (11a) of a hub (10) fixed to the camshaft and a receiving boring (13) in the camshaft itself. The path (17) between the radial webs guides the hydraulic fluid into a pressure chamber (20) in the adjuster. A further path (27) in a further pressure cavity (19) runs inside a boring (29) of the shell.
