<p>A method of identifying peptides, peptide analogs and peptidomimetics that have a high probability of inhibiting, enhancing or mimicking the activity of a target protein by comparing amino acid sequences of related proteins to identify indel-associated sequences is disclosed. The amino acid sequences of peptides that modulate the activity of the complement system are disclosed.</p> |
