A fully premixing atmospheric burner(16) has at least one gas nozzle (2) directed towards at least one mixing pipe (1), at a distance from the inlet (15) of the pipe and each mixing pipe has a burner head (4) at the top. Projecting into the mixing chamber of each burner head is an air pipe (8) supplied by a fan. All the air pipes are linked to the fan via an air distribution pipe. The fan is controlled according to signals from ionisation electrodes in the burners. There are pipes (7) carrying cooling water above each burner, circulated by a pump using the same drive as the fan.
