POLYESTER-BASED FIBER FABRIC AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE: To obtain polyester-based fiber fabric having softness, dry feeling and soft and smooth feeling and excellent in touch feeling without causing problem on the process. CONSTITUTION: This polyester-based fiber fabric has a pattern part in which fibrillated fluff protruded from fiber surface of a polyester-based fiber and having 0.05-5μm diameter and >=5μm length is formed. A sizing agent containing an ethylene oxide adduct of a polyhydric alcohol is printed in pattern state onto fabric made of a polyester-based fiber containing 0.1-8wt.% organic sulfonic acid metal salt expressed by the formula R-SO3 M and 0.1-10wt.% mixture of the organic sulfonic acid metal salt with polyethylene and the fabric is heat- treated at >=100 deg.C and then subjected to weight-reducing treatment with an alkali.
