<p>PURPOSE: To provide an automatic voltage regulator for a generator capable of rapidly dealing with the time of a load abrupt change. CONSTITUTION: The automatic voltage regulator detects the output voltage of a generator 1, inputs the deviation from a voltage set value to a voltage control calculator 3, gives the calculated result to the generator 1 as a voltage command, and regulates the output voltage by an excitation control constant, and comprises a deviation rate calculator 4 for calculating the deviation rate of the set value to the detected value, and a specific setter 6 having a specific set value corresponding to a controlled variable for instructing the maximum voltage to correct the voltage drop and a specific set value corresponding to a controlled variable for instructing the minimum voltage to correct the voltage rise. Further, a switching unit 5 for normally setting to the switching state to the deviation side is provided at the input side of the calculator 3. When the deviation rate exceeds a predetermined value, the calculator 4 sends a select signal to the setter 6 and a switching signal to the unit 5, thereby switching the input of the calculator 3 to the specific set value.</p> |
