<p>PURPOSE: To allow realtime measurement and recording by installing a sensor against an elastic body subject to the side pressure which a magnetic tape applies to the side of the drum lead section. CONSTITUTION: Since the displacement of one end (free end) 2a due to the lead side pressure of a side pressure detecting plate 2 is small compared with that in the use of the conventional tension gauge, the change in the running condition of a tape due to a change in the lead side pressure is small. Therefore, setting of a side pressure measuring device 70 is possible. And because the own weight of the device 70 is very small, plural side pressure measuring devices can be set. A strain gauge 1 can output an electric signal corresponding to the lead side pressure as a detection signal, and thereby allowing realtime measurement with use of recording instruments and measuring instruments such as pen recorder and oscilloscope.</p> |
