PURPOSE: To obtain a gas insulated bus where the adhesion to the insulation spacer of a particle can be prevented without changing the diameter of a metal container and that of a conductor and insulation performance can be improved. CONSTITUTION: A gas insulated bus has a conductor l arranged along the longitudinal direction at a center in a metal container 2 where insulation gas is sealed and an insulation space 3 in a tripod shape where three support legs 3b for insulating and supporting the conductor 1 to the inner wall of the metal container 2 is extended radially toward a wall surface, the spread angel for each support leg 3b is made unequal, and a part with a widest angle isαmade the bottom surface of the metal container 2.
