PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the troublesomeness of an operator for double-sided printing processing in a printing device and to prevent erroneous printing from occurring by providing a 1st side printing control means, a 2nd side printing control means, a detection means and a non-failure recovery control means, which are specified respectively. SOLUTION: The printing device is constituted of a panel control part 105, a jamming recovery means 107 and a printing mechanism part 108. The 1st side printing control means controls so that the printing data of either page of an even numbered page and an odd numbered page may be printed on the 1st side of a recording medium, and a 2nd side control means controls so that the printing data of the other page of the even numbered page and the odd numbered page may be printed on the 2nd side of the recording medium whose 1st side the printing data of either page has been recorded on. The detection means detects the printing failure in a printing means. The non-failure recovery control means controls in the case the detection means detects the printing failure in the midst of control by the 2nd side printing control means so that the printing data of the page at which the failure occurs may not be printed but the printing data of the rest may be printed on the recording medium after releasing the failure. |
