PURPOSE: To easily prepare a menu totally balanced in nutritive values in a short time by calculating the nutritive value of main dish when the name of that main dish is selected and automatically extracting sub-dish names suitable for taking well-balanced nutrition based on the calculated nutritive value. CONSTITUTION: An input part 20, display part 30 composed of an LCD, etc., and external storage device 40 are connected to a data processing part 10 for controlling the entire device. This data processing part 10 consists of a nutritive value calculating means, main dish selecting means, sub-dish selecting means and integrating means. Then, a ROM 12 inside the data processing part 10 consists of a menu information storage means. In this case, the nutritive value calculating means calculates the nutritive value of the main dish selected by the main dish selecting means and the sub-dish selecting means automatically selects the sub-dishes out of the menu information storage means suitably for taking well-balanced nutrition based on the nutritive value of the main dish calculated by the nutritive value calculating means. |
