<p>PURPOSE: To provide a gas insulated electric device which has no loss of mechanical strength by making it in such a structure that the thickness of an expanded section formed at an end of a cylinder-shaped metallic container may be hardly reduced. CONSTITUTION: A conductor 12 is located concentrically inside a cylinder-shaped metallic container 22 and is insulatedly supported by an insulation spacer 31, to constitute a unit. Then, another conductor 11 is connected to the conductor 12 with a conductor connector 13 and the metallic container 22 and another metallic container 21 are welded. In like manner, a specified number of units are connected to each other and all the metallic containers are filled with insulation gas. In such a gas insulated electric device, an end of one metallic container 22 is a large pipe section 22a with a large diameter and an end of the other metallic container 21 is a small pipe section 21a. In order to connect the two metallic containers 22 and 21, the small pipe section 21a is inserted into the large pipe section 22a.</p> |
