<p>PURPOSE: To provide a high-resolutionγ-ray absorption coefficient distribution image by providing multipleγ-ray linear radiation sources in the direction crossing the body axis of a subject, and setting the intervals of theγ-ray linear radiation sources to the half-value width of theγ-ray detection wave obtained from a detector. CONSTITUTION: Three linear radiation sources 2 are provided in parallel in the crossing direction of the body axis of a subject 1, and a detector 3 is provided at the position to face them. Three linear radiation sources 2 are arranged at the intervals of the half-value width of theγ-ray detection wave detected by the detector 3.γ-rays are radiated to the subject 1 from the linear radiation sources 2, and theγ-ray dose transmitting the subject 1 is detected by the detector 3 and stored in a memory device. The linear radiation sources 2 and the detector 3 are rotated by a slight angle with the subject 1 as the center, the same actions are repeated until the rotation angle becomes 180 deg. or 360 deg., and theγ-ray absorption coefficient distribution in the subject 1 is obtained based on theγ-ray transmission data for the desired slice. The tomographic image obtained from an organ administered with an RT-labeled medicine is corrected by the absorption coefficient of a diagnosed portion, and aγ-ray absorption coefficient distribution image is obtained.</p> |
