PURPOSE: To obtain an apparatus for judging the state of the operation of an a.c. motor with simple constitution at low cost without need for high speed sampling or a dedicated circuit. CONSTITUTION: The apparatus for judging the state of the operation of an a.c. motor includes a current sensor 3 that detects the phase current of an a.c. motor 1 for traveling; a rotation information detect sensor 4 that detects the rotational angle of the a.c. motor 1; and an operation unit 15 that judges the operation of the a.c. motor 1 abnormal if the peak value of the phase current at the detected rotational angle is out of a preset range. |
